"Phrase from nearest book" Meme

Meme from Jono:

* Grab the nearest book.
* Open it to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
* Don’t dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST.

My result:

"Use this new power with prudence and choose only goals which appear sensible and inspiring to the people." -- R.L.Wing, I Ching Workbook

Well, I've got no journal, so I'll post it here:

"I didn't even really appreciate all of this until about ten years later, as a grad student, trying to build a user interface that whould convey a lot of data very quickly, for one of those baby-killer grants."
Neil Stephenson - Snow Crash

Notice that the text in the StatusBar is unaffected by either of these values, despite the fact that it supports these two properties just like the other controls.

Davon will ich nichts weiter hören,
Ob man auch künftig haßt und liebt,
Und ob es auch in jenen Sphären
Ein Oben oder Unten gibt.
